The Story of Greensolsa
About Us
Welcome to Greensolsa, a small Dutch label built around one simple idea: outerwear should feel as good as it looks. We design and make coats, jackets, and jackets for everyday life, pieces meant to be worn on the school run, the commute, the weekend walk, and every cooler day in between.
Our story began in Lunteren, a quiet town in the Netherlands, where our founder Evelien started making clothing by hand in 2019. What started as a one woman workshop grew out of a genuine love for the craft of clothing making, from cutting the first patterns to sewing the final seam. Evelien has always believed that a great coat is more than a barrier against the wind, it is something you reach for again and again because it simply feels right.
That belief still shapes everything we do. Every piece from Greensolsa is made with real attention to detail, from the choice of fabric to the stitching that holds it all together. We do not just produce clothing, we also care about how long it lasts, which is why repairing and maintaining what we make has always been part of our work. If a seam needs mending or a zipper needs replacing, we see that as part of the relationship we build with every customer, not an afterthought.
We are a small operation by choice. There is no big factory behind Greensolsa, just a dedicated workshop where coats and jackets are cut, sewn, and finished with care. This means every order gets personal attention, and it means we can stand behind the quality of what we send out.
Comfort, warmth, and honest craftsmanship are at the heart of every design. We want your Greensolsa coat or jacket to become the piece you grab without thinking twice, the one that keeps you warm on a grey afternoon and still looks good doing it.
Thank you for supporting a small, handmade business. We hope you love wearing our pieces as much as we love making them.
